The event will take place at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center from August 12 to 14. This new helmet represents an advancement in the “Bars” line of titanium helmets, one of the key areas of the Steel Research Institute.

According to the company, while the basic structure of the helmet remains unchanged, the “Bars-M” features a more ergonomic shape adapted to the actual shape of the human head, and includes embossing around the ears to accommodate low-profile active headphones.

The new visor, made from high-strength glass, stands out for its durability, especially in extreme temperatures. According to the Steel Research Institute, the visor is composed of a special material combination that can withstand two shots from a Stechkin 9 mm pistol at temperatures ranging from -40°C to +40°C.

The development of the Bars-M helmet shell was done in partnership with NAO Metal Invest, one of the few companies in Russia capable of working with high-strength titanium alloys and deep stamping.

The creation of this new helmet meets requests from the Russian government, which is engaged in war against Ukraine, for helmets with titanium bars that allow the installation of active headphones.

Technical Specifications of the Bars-M Armor Helmet:

– Weight of the helmet with visor: 3.4 kg
– Helmet protection area: 12.5 dm²
– Visor protection area: 5 dm²
– Helmet protection class: Br2 according to GOST R 57560-2017
– Visor protection class: Br1 according to GOST R 57560-2017

This advancement represents a significant milestone in personal protection technology, combining ergonomics, durability, and adaptation to modern combat needs.
